Before making a single edit, Tropedia EXPECTS our site policy and manual of style to be followed. There is also a role-playing game entitled A Song of Ice and Fire from Green Ronin, which uses a non-class based system and is fairly decent at a glance. Daenerys Targaryen - NG female human sorceress 6. King Stannis I Baratheon - LG male human paladin 10. Sandor Clegane - N male human fighter 14. Note that Tyrion's charisma score was probably not meant to be as high as Peter Dinklage's own roll of 18. Tyrion Lannister - LN male human aristocrat 6/fighter 5. Melisandre, Red Priestess of R'hllor - LE female human cleric 9. Jon Snow - LG male human fighter 2/ranger 3/ranger of the Night's Watch 2. The characters from Dragon Magazine were In addition to that the characters of A Song of Ice and Fire were given D&D-style statistics in an issue of Dragon Magazine, though in that case from the perspective of converting the characters thematically rather than literally. Most of the named characters were given a set of statistic blocks. There was a Game of Thrones RPG for the d20 system published by Guardians of Order. It isn't really suited for a setting with little to no magic and quite simply a level 10 Jamie Lannister would be able to take on small armies of level 1-2 warriors and Ned Stark would never have been taken down be a mook warriors spear. Honestly I think Pathfinder might not be the right system for the game. Valyrian steel and adamantium bare some obvious similarities. Barbarians in the North and beyond the wall. Other than that fighters, rogues, low level rangers. Rob could easily be an Order of the Shield cavalier and Jamie could easily have a few levels with the Order of the Cockatrice. The magic they do have seems generally low level, facechanging, foresight and the like. This means even classes with relatively minor magic or magic at higher levels such as rangers are pretty much out. It tends towards ritualistic or oracular stuff, a little illusion and the like. ASoIaF has magic, but it isn't the blatant fireball and fury type of magic of Pathfinder. GAME OF THRONES CHARACTERS FREE
Also what levels and classes would you assign to the various named characters? I am not trying to fish for complete stat blocks, I'm merely trying to get a feel of each characters prowess/competence in relation to each other and the setting in general.įeel free to comment on whether you think the levels are a too high (low fantasy setting after all) especially from an E6 perspective. Mooks will be level 1 to 2, experienced characters would be 4 to 6 and the truly exceptional individuals would be 8 to 11. I am of the opinion that a veteran warrior elite would be between lvl 6 to 8. What I'd like to know is what do you think the various levels these people would be in this setting. For example, Benjen would be great as a ranger with probably some fighter in there (or vise versa) while Jaime Lannister would be a high level fighter/duelist (what have you). Many of the GOT characters (if not all) fit the Pathfinder classes and archetypes well and would be easy enough to abstract into stat blocks.
Hi guys, I have been thinking about how the various characters from Game of Thrones are stated from a Pathfinder perspective.
